Assistant Manager Design Brand and PR Communications (m/f/d)

at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

Your Mission:

As Assistant Manager Design Brand and PR Communications you will support the identification and development of Design opportunities to build the Kia Brand.

Your Responsibilities:

Strategic Communication

Promote Design through the planning and execution of effective communication strategies.

Support the development and delivery of Design event campaign assets.

Assist in Global and European Marketing/PR/Communications activities.

Support the development of Kia Design communication guidelines aligned with Global and European requirements in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Act as advocate for innovation, best practices and communications trends.

Brand Management

Identify and develop strategic opportunities to enhance Kia brand through innovative design projects and collaborations.

Utilize your skills and experience in Design to create innovative projects and collaborations that positively impact the Kia brand.

Use your creativity to conceptualize and support the preparation for local design awards such as Red Dot Design Award, iF Design Award.

Use your storytelling and aesthetic abilities to document internal design process for social and other media.

Key Qualifications:

University Degree in Marketing, PR, Brand Design or similar

Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience in design and/or brand building, ideally in the creative industry. Understanding of the automotive industry is beneficial.

Design is in your DNA - a broad understanding and experience of design is essential, as well as keen eye for detail

Proficiency in project support and management, able to conceptualize and execute innovative projects under supervision

In-depth knowledge and understanding of the digital landscape and integrated communication

Strategic, conceptual, and creative - able to develop innovative solutions, think critically, and communicate compelling ideas both verbally and visually (via Adobe Suite, PPT, and similar; Photoshop, Indesign, Blender knowledge is beneficial)

Strong collaboration skills, positive thinking, flexibility and the ability to adapt in a multicultural and quick developing environment.

Excellent in both written and spoken English; with an ability to create compelling stories and narratives.

Photography or visualization skills are beneficial.
