About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Brand Manager to lead our premium whisky portfolio in the German market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing brand strategies to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the premium whisky portfolio for the German market, including brands such as Laphroaig, Auchentoshan, and Ardmore.
  • Co-lead the annual and growth planning process to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage the core portfolio and prepare and implement new product launches and annual limited editions.
  • Develop and implement consumer-oriented brand activations in an omni-channel environment, including retail, gastronomy, and e-commerce.
  • Manage and control annual marketing budgets to achieve business objectives.
  • Define and track brand KPIs, including Nielsen and GfK data.
  • Manage agency relationships for creative, media, social/digital, PR, and BTL activities.
  • Cross-functional alignment with key departments, including sales, trade marketing, finance, and supply chain, to achieve annual targets and objectives.
  • Stakeholder management within a matrix structure.

Requirements

  • University degree in business, marketing, communications, or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of consumer marketing experience, preferably in international FMCG companies, beverage, and/or spirits industry or categories with strong emotional marketing relevance.
  • Fluent (spoken and written) in German and English.
  • Digitally competent and high interest in marketing and category trends.
  • Experience in product development and portfolio management preferable.
  • Ability to draw conclusions from data and extract meaningful insights to tell a story.
  • Demonstrated personal characteristics to be a self-starter, flexible, reliable, and intrinsically motivated.
  • Proven team player with strong collaborative approach to lead, build, drive, and inspire.
  • Culturally sensitive, proven ability to build credibility and excel in a global environment with a matrix organization.
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, and navigate ambiguity.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and complete projects in a timely manner.
