We are looking for you as Business Development Engineer (m/f/d) Automotive for our sales department in Stuttgart to support the growth of the Segment Automotive, Truck and Transportation by introducing and promoting new capabilities internally and externally. 

Scope of your role
  • Create the necessary input for R&D for new product development
  • Collect market information: be close to the market, understand trends
  • Analyze technical trends: technically and commercially
  • Create product/service ideas
  • Filter/rank of product/service ideas: in alignment with Segment roadmap, TSS strategy
  • Actively participate in developments to ensure alignment with the strategy
  • Launch new products globally : internally and externally
  • Deliver feedback to R&D : Voice of Customers
  • Support the Sales organization to create high-potential opportunities/projects: consulting the Sales teams and customers
  • Create and maintain network to R&D, Sales Organizations, Production sites and Product Managers
What defines you
  • Engineering / mechanical engineering degree preferred
  • 2- 3 years’ work experience with technical products or experience as application consultant or sales representative in technical areas
  • Very good knowledge of German and English – verbally and in written
  • Good knowledge in PC (MS-office, C4C)
  • Knowledge about core tools, processes & norms in Automotive industry like IATF 16949 certification and APQP
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical problem solving skills
