In order to support our Quality Digital Tools department Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

Intern within Quality Digital Tools Benchmarking in Quality function (d/f/m)

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Identification of quality processes and methods in the scope of quality management (Quality assurance, control and prevention) and associated benchmarking objectives and pain points.

  • Identification of industries relevant for benchmarking of the above mentioned processes and methods.

  • Research and identify existing benchmark studies on the same or similar areas

  • Definition of the methodology/ framework for the benchmark study

  • Identification of the Digital solutions/ toolset including related vendors

  • Comparison of the identified toolset/ solutions based on relevant criteria including pro/ con analysis

  • Benchmark Airbus DS AS IS vs the industry benchmark

  • Provide recommendations and implementation action plan based on the investigation

  • Further, the student will be engaged in supporting the team in various day to day operational and organizational tasks.


 Desired skills and qualifications

  • Enrolled full-time student in the area of Quality Management or Statistics or Operations/ industrial management/ engineering  or an equivalent field of study

  • First practical experience in the field of agile Quality management or Statistics is desirable.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Data analysis and research.

  • Knowledge of statistical methods such as Process Controls, SPC, MSA, Control Plan

  • Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology
