With highly motivated colleagues, the Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Protection Management (SUM) team is a staff unit that reports directly to the head of the Bremen site. Our key task is to monitor compliance with the various legal and technical requirements for the protection of people and the environment, to further develop Group standards in collaboration with the SUM teams at our other sites and to support the responsible managers in fulfilling their duties. As representatives for waste, emissions and water protection, we represent our site in discussions with the relevant authorities on environmental notification/approval projects. We control the management of hazardous substances at our site and, as occupational safety specialists, support change projects through to safety approval.
These are some of the challenges you will face:
Connecting the sigmaMB hazardous substance management system to the existing SAP iPro merchandise management system for the automated evaluation of consumption-based hazardous substance data Updating/correcting data records in the existing hazardous substances database and the SAP iPro merchandise management system Inspection of the storage areas to record data Carry out evaluation and queries in the hazardous substances database and the merchandise management system Dealing with safety data sheets Inspecting and assisting with other tasks of the environmental and safety engineers Qualifikationen Degree in natural sciences (chemistry, environmental protection, occupational safety) or a comparable course of study Confident written and spoken German and English skills Confident handling of MS Office Commitment and ability to work in a team Analytical mindset and strategic way of workingAdditional information:
