For our Headquarter in Düsseldorf, we are looking for a Trade Marketing Coordinator (all genders) as part of the Volantariat International en Entreprise (VIE) program as of 01.08.2024.

The VIE Trade Marketing Coordinator (all genders) works closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and the Wholesale Manager to create and monitor the marketing plans and trade marketing measures in Switzerland.

Your Mission:

  • Implementation of the international marketing plans of the L'OCCITANE brand, with a special focus on the Swiss market, in direct collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager and the Wholesale Manager.
  • Interface management with other marketing departments (Retail, PR, Digital) to implement the 360° marketing strategy.
  • Support of the marketing activities of individual customers based on the trade plan.
  • Definition and implementation of targeted promotional measures to promote sell-out.
  • Creation of sales documents for the respective sales cycles and adaptation and organization of cycle meetings (4x per year).
  • Creation of documents for the sales force to promote sales and acquire new customers.
  • Preparing, organizing, and sending out products / marketing tools to wholesale partners.
  • Co-responsible for the development and introduction of new, cost-effective trade approaches for retail partners.
  • Monitoring the competition, preparing competitive analyses, and deriving appropriate measures.
  • Tracking and reporting of all marketing measures carried out regarding budget compliance and costs in cooperation with the Wholesale Manager and the Senior Marketing Manager.
  • Effective interface management, with Key Account Management / the internal and external sales team / CWE team.

Requirements for the VIE program:

  • You are between 18 and 28 years old.
  • You live in the European Economic Area and have an European citizenship.
  • You are interested in an adventure in Germany for a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 24 months.
  • You have not worked in Germany for more than 6 months.

Your Profil:

  • Completed studies in marketing or a comparable qualification with initial professional experience in a similar function;
  • Operational experience in marketing and project management;
  • A keen interest in the needs of buyers and the Point of Sales as well as mastery of the marketing mix;
  • A keen interest in beauty and luxury goods as well as enthusiasm, creativity and openness;
  • Strong planning and analytical skills to interpret data and derive usable insights from it;
  • Ability to work in a team, structured and independent working methods, high resilience and initiative;
  • High attention to detail, a high level of organization and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment;
  • Organizational and communication skills and a high level of self-motivation;
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams;
  • Very good MS Office skills;
  • Ideally initial experience with InDesign or PhotoShop;
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German / English and French.
