What you can expect from us :
At MP/EA (Purchasing Driver Assistance & Chassis Control Systems) we are responsible for module purchasing and supplier quality of all electrics/electronics and MB.OS (Mercedes-Benz Operating System) components. We manage innovative, international contracts in fields such as autonomous driving and driver assistance systems and ensure quality in this complex and constantly changing environment.
Our purchasing volumes are a direct customer experience and a flagship for the innovative spirit of our company. Close cooperation with the most innovative partners and suppliers in the automotive and tech world is fundamental to this. Beyond our day-to-day business, we are shaping the digitalization of Mercedes-Benz AG in pioneering strategic projects.

Your tasks:
As a working student in the field of autonomous driving and driver assistance systems, you will work at the cutting edge in an exciting environment with the topics of the future Accompanying the process of selecting and nominating suppliers for new Mercedes-Benz model series You will also support the team in plausibility checks of supplier offers and in the preparation of documents for negotiations Research and documentation with the help of purchasing-specific IT systems Supporting the operational excellence of the specialist buyers You will be directly involved in the product development process, as you will help shape and support cross-functional collaboration with development, cost planning, quality assurance, logistics and the production plants Qualifikationen Degree in industrial engineering, economics, business administration or a comparable course of study Initial practical experience in the field of purchasing through internships or completed vocational training Confident user knowledge of MS Office products (especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel) Business fluent in written and spoken English Creative and analytical way of thinking Solution-oriented Formulation and visualization skillsAdditional information:
