This role will be essential in our continuous development of APIs for internal and external client deliveries. We provide realtime calculation services, so performance and reliability is absolute essential. You will be engaging with DevOps, Infrastructure and Operations teams.

Technology and operations will be build out of Giessen/Frankfurt and supports a truly global business. We focus on lean processes and state of the art technology to be highly flexible in reaction to clients’ & strategic requirements.

We need to be seen as more innovative, more knowledgeable and more accurate than our competitors and therefore attention to detail, subject matter expertise, technology orientation and thinking outside the standard are key requirements for this position.

Job Responsibilities

-As a full stack developer, you will be writing the best APIs to support:

our data consumption, index calculation and data distribution in any frequency our self services analysts portals

- You will interact with quantitative development teams to optimize computation precision and performance

- You will have the opportunity to work with large amounts of (realtime) data and using approaches such as machine learning for analysis, monitoring and product development;

- You will work in an agile project team according to SCRUM.

- You are involved in communication with the internal and external users of our systems our public interfaces into vendor screens, web pages, client systems 

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience with Java

- University degree or equivalent, with major in computer science, mathematical/physics, analytical or technical field preferred.

- Experience in a web & backend development

- Experience with Angular, NodeJS and Spring Boot

- Experience in cloud computing (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP, Cloud Functions / Serverless computing)

- Experience in Network knowledge / messaging experience

- Understanding of concepts of machine learning

- Experience with agile development approaches using SCRUM framework

- Interest in financial markets is plus

- Analytical thinking, independent working style, willingness to take responsibility and ability to work in global teams
