What you will do
Leading the tax team in the corporate tax & customs departmentPartner with international group functions (e.g. Legal, Controlling, Accounting, Regional FiCO Man-ager, HR, Supply Chain)Providing tax input and advice during cross-functional projects, organizational or legal restructurings and M&A projects in cooperation with external tax advisors Active monitoring of external tax developments (OECD, EU) and analyzing their relevance for tesaImplementing necessary processes including issuing of relevant guidelines and checklist and providing relevant input for the Internal Control System (ICS)Leading tax audits / procedure and preparing defense strategiesAnalyzing and continuously reviewing of group´s tax position according to IFRSPreparing strategies to improve tesa’s tax position and drive respective implementations globallyWhat you will need
Completed University degree in business administration, tax or similar7-10 years of relevant international tax & transfer pricing experience (preferably experience from Big 4 companies)Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a high level of initiative and creative driveProcess driven and IT savvyRelevant leadership experience and experience with external tax auditsThinking ahead, being proactive and challenging business partnerProject management, coordination and participation in international (project) teamsStrong communication and presentation skills, excellent in promoting change Fluent in German and EnglishWhat you can expect
