What you’ll do
Our environment is fast-moving, and we are looking for you, an enthusiastic and innovative Senior Developer (f/m/d) to strengthen our team. You will become part of our highly motivated team for SAP Environment, Health and Safety.
As a Senior Developer (f/m/d) for Environment, Health and Safety, you contribute to all phases of application development. You will:
- Be Responsible for designing, implementing, and testing complete and complex end-to-end software parts
- Actively contribute to the whole product lifecycle
- Work in an agile development environment which requires to be self-driven, to take decisions independently as well as to be very flexible
- Identify problems within the current architecture, create a plan and lead the delivery of the technical changes needed to solve them
- Ensure quality of our code with code reviews and automated testing tools
- Mentor junior developers and help them improve their technical skills
- Align with other teams and agree on interfaces for the integration and gain knowledge about other technologies
What you bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or related discipline
- Minimum +5 years of software development experience (potentially open to less for the right candidate)
- Excellent programming knowledge in an object-oriented language, e.g. ABAP Objects, C++, Java, and another (script) language
- Excellent knowledge in software design pattern and software engineering
- Constructive and open style of communication
- Ability to easily acquire deep understanding in new areas and technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluent Business English and German
