Role description

As a Project Manager Operations, you will be responsible for leading and executing large-scale projects within the operations domain. Your focus will be on optimizing processes from customer order receipt through to product delivery, ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple departments.

Your Mission

  • End-to-End Operations Management: Oversee operations from order to delivery, ensuring smooth execution and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Process Optimization: Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve time-to-market for samples.
  • Lean Operations & Change Management: Introduce Lean structures and drive change initiatives to enhance operational performance.
  • Operations Standardization & International Rollout: Standardize processes across international locations for consistent and efficient operations.
  • Time-to-Market & Sample Provisioning: Shorten time-to-market for samples and establish clear provisioning standards.
  • Process Mapping: Develop a comprehensive process landscape for full operations visibility and clarity.
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale operations projects, ideally in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Strong understanding of process optimization, lean methodologies, and change management.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in international operations and standardization of processes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Fluent communication skills in both German and English.
