ABOUT THIS POSITION

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deep Learning and 3D Simulation Expert to join our team. Since acquiring and annotating real data is not cost-effective, we are looking to expand our existing datasets with synthetically generated data and innovative ideas to facilitate the annotation procedures. Your main goal will be to synthesize new data using simulation and generative techniques and find creative ways to facilitate large-scale annotation processes.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Develop and implement innovative approaches to create photorealistic 2D/3D content from images/videos

  • Use NERF-like techniques, GANs, Diffusion models, and other generative methods to boost photorealism in computer graphics

  • Develop differentiable and neural rendering methods to improve the quality of 3D simulations

  • Leverage virtual worlds and simulation as an engine to build new training data

  • Conduct domain adaptation and transfer learning from Virtual Worlds/Simulation

  • Collaborate with a team of developers and engineers to integrate your solutions into our final product

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of generative deep learning and 3D simulation software, and apply new techniques to improve our products

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE?

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields

  • At least two years of experience working with deep learning and 3D simulation software like Blender and Unreal Engine

  • Strong background in the foundation of computer vision

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++

  • Experience with NERF-like techniques, Diffusion models, prompt engineering, GANs, differentiable and neural rendering, and domain adaptation

  • Hands-on experience with Pytorch

  • Previous experience with robots and ROS is a plus

  • Previous experience with edge devices (e.g., Jetson) is a plus

  • Previous experience with optimization frameworks (e.g., TensorRT) is a plus

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
