The roughly 2,600 employees assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment handle terminal-related activities and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations.
As a member of Hapag-Lloyd's international and dynamic Reefer team and reporting to the Reefer Product Excellence team lead, you will take ownership of Reefer Value Added Services and support the global reefer organization in technical, digital, and quality aspects. In this role, you will drive the performance and development of new reefer products, provide training and support to regional teams, and contribute to the reefer digital transformation.
Responsibilities and Tasks:- Take over the product ownership for Hapag-Lloyd Reefer Value Added Services
- Develop and implement new reefer products and drive performance and development
- Provide the active support and training to Hapag-Lloyd Regions and Areas for all technical and digital reefer related topics
- Contribute and support in driving the reefer digital transformation
- Support Global Reefer Strategy with analytics, improvements and implementation of current and new Reefer Products (i.e. Hapag-Lloyd LIVE, ExtraFresh)
- Oversee commercial and technical reefer processes such as Cold Treatment, Controlled Atmosphere, High Value Pharmaceuticals and reefer related service agreement
- Attend and assist reefer sales teams and customers in trade fairs with reefer product expertise
- Participate in customer meetings to support the sales organization with reefer product expertise
- Report to the Reefer Product Excellence team lead

- Completed apprenticeship as liner shipping professional or similar qualification along with a minimum of 4-5 years on the job experience is needed in this role. Bachelor’s degree would be beneficial
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS-Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Reefer technical and digital knowledge or the willingness and attitude to learn and share your expertise is necessary
- Comprehensive knowledge of Hapag-Lloyd applications (QlikView, HIP, FIS) or at least a high willingness and attitude to learn the handling of the tools. With that knowledge you will discover the Hapag-Lloyd reefer world
- Willingness to travel
- Very good command of written and spoken English, Spanish would be beneficial
