Your tasks
Responsibility for the design and construction of autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV) and their assemblies Independent performance of the requirements analysis of autonomous underwater vehicles and their assemblies Creating mechanical concepts and designs and selecting suitable materials Engineering calculation of the designs with regard to strength, flow behavior and service life 3D CAD design of parts and assemblies Preparation of production documents taking into account standardization, standards and regulations as well as production-oriented design Coordination of interface tasks between design, electronics development, project and production Independent planning and implementation of assemblies and system tests as well as preparation of test documents Supervision of environmental tests, e.g. shock, vibration, temperature, etc.
Your profile
Successfully completed university degree in mechanical engineering or comparable Completed vocational training prior to studies advantageous Sound experience in the design and construction of underwater components Good experience in the coordination of interface tasks and appropriate communication Application experience with 3D CAD systems (ideally NX), a PLM or ERP system (SAP) and MS Office Good written and spoken German and English skills Structured and independent way of working as well as high motivation Willingness to undergo safety checks Working time model: 35 hours/week, 40% home office-
