Job Purpose:

Business Development role responsible for translating the AMD Server/EPYC technology growth plans internally and to drive them in specific strategic segments. This role includes both, the AMD EPYC stand alone sales, and the White Box Server business based in AMD Server technology (ASUS, Supermicro, Gigabyte, Mitac, ...). Aligned with AMD Business Manager and marketing on MDF and with the local GCC country sales teams on specialized opportunities.

The scope of the position is for all Europe.

Responsibilities:

Grow profitable market share by executing the AMD and the Business Unit strategy in full alignment under clear managerial direction

Negotiation of key tenders and large deals with complete knowledge of all job functions and broad industry best practices, techniques and standards.

Optimizes results by driving sales out of agreed vendor portfolio including new vendor identification, on-boarding and other business development initiatives 

Demonstrates a solid customer engagement strategy including multiple parties and levels that drives successful business outcomes

Demonstrates application of TD SYNNEX resources to clearly assist customer in meeting their strategic objectives.

Take solution and service offerings to market including financial services and TaaS

Co-ownership of quarterly vendor business planning and execution in coordination with European Business Manager

Creates customer unique selling propositions that protects Margin integrity and promotes long term value based customer engagement

Enable and help the sales teams to win and grow share of wallet and market share

Relationship and engagement with vendors and stakeholders to ensure TD SYNNEX is seen as the “Trusted Advisor”

Full knowledge of assigned Vendor’s product / service line

Develops tailored customer value propositions against clear understanding of customer business requirements, in collaboration with the GCC Solution Factory team

Maintains Full knowledge of assigned Vendor’s product / service line

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

Good emotional intelligence

Strong communication skills, both oral and written

Skilled multi-level relationship builder

High energy and motivation

6+ years of experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a business development level, ideally from a sales or product marketing background

Complete knowledge of all job functions and the broad industry best practices, techniques and standards.

Strong orientation towards and experience in services and solution selling

Strategic planning and business case development

Experience of working within a matrix structure

Proven ability to self-manage in an external environment

Business planning experience with strong operational cadence
