For the long-term reinforcement of our Hardware Engineering team, we are looking for a

Hardware Engineer optical Communication (m/f/d)

 

What will expect you in this role:
  • Development of optical transmitters and optical detectors for free space optical communication
  • Special focus on optical electronics
  • Building up of a deep technical understanding in mixed circuit design and layout 
  • Design and Layout of complex PCBs
  • Documentation of development results 
  • Bring up and test of prototypes 
  • Intensive collaboration with software team 
What you can contribute:
  • Completed studies in electrical engineering or communications engineering 
  • Experience in the field mixed signal sircuit design, RF engineering or optical communication 
  • Knowledge of high speed serial interfaces 
  • Knowledge about electromagnetic interference and compability 
  • Experience in PCB layout is of advantage 
  • Good knowledge of English 
  • Initial work experience in the above-mentioned areas is preferred, but not essential if relevant experience is available, e.g. from internships, thesis or other projects
