Here at Volocopter, we are the pioneers of electric air taxis (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft - eVTOLs). In 2011 we carried out the first-ever crewed flight of a fully electric multicopter and have since conducted more than 2,000 public and private test flights across the world ().
Job Description
Your mission during this flight:
As a Compliance Verification Engineer Avionics, you will be part of the Office of Airworthiness, aligning the certification approach with EASA and verifying that the VoloCity Avionics design is meeting the requirements for certification.
Qualifications
Check in your professional skills:
Master's Degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, communications engineering or related field Minimum 5 years of proven experience in aerospace development projects with involvement in certification activities, ideally already as a nominated CVE or equivalent such as DER Detailed knowledge of certification processes (Part 21) and requirements under EASA (CS-23, CS-25, CS-27, CS-29, ideally also SC-VTOL) Knowledge of certification deliverables according to DO-160, DO-178, and DO-254 in line with the ARP4754A framework Ideally prior participation in standardization or rulemaking activities such as EUROCAE, ASTM, etc. Excellent command of the English language
