Responsibilities
Experimental studies in the lab involving downstream unit operations (e.g. chromatography, filtration) and corresponding analytics (e.g. HPLC, cGE, ELISA, qPCR)Optimization and automation of lab and data analysis workflowsCalibration and validation of mechanistic models as well as optimization of downstream unit operations using GoSilico softwareWhat is important to us
Student in one of the following or equivalent areas: bioengineering, biotechnology, bioinformatics, chemical engineering, technical biologyHigh level of motivation, good team working skills and ability to implement pragmatic solutionsBasic experience with preparative chromatography and/or filtration techniques for protein purificationHigh interest and ideally basic experience in mechanistic modeling of downstream unit operationsBasic experience in programming (e.g. Python, MATLAB, C++) is considered a plusInternship period of at least 3 months plus thesis of 6 monthsWhat you can look forward to
