Über die Abteilung

Als Clinical Development Center ist die klinische Forschung Deutschland ein sehr bedeutsamer Standort für Novo Nordisk. Das Team aus 100 hochmotivierten Mitarbeiter/innen begleitet von Mainz aus die globalen Studien ab Phase I. Damit stehen innerhalb der Abteilung Manpower und Professionalität bereit, viele Prozesse inhouse durchführen zu können, zu wachsen und in Kürze neue Therapiegebiete zu erschließen. Als CRA arbeitest du in einem Team aus mehreren Clinical Research Associates, einem Clinical Trial Administrator, einem Clinical Trial Manager und einem Manager Clinical Research je Unterabteilung zusammen, an den du berichtest. Uns ist eine konstruktive und intensive Zusammenarbeit innerhalb des Studienteams wichtig.

Die Position

Als Clinical Research Associate (CRA, klinischer Monitor) erfüllst du eine zentrale Aufgabe bei der Organisation, Betreuung und Überwachung klinischer Prüfungen: Du bist das wichtigste Bindeglied zwischen Novo Nordisk und den Prüfzentren – und damit verantwortlich für einen effektiven Informationsfluss zwischen allen Beteiligten. Du begleitest in dieser Funktion klinische Studien der Phasen I-IV umfassend unter Einhaltung aller relevanten gesetzlichen und ethischen Bestimmungen – von der Planung über die Durchführung bis zum Abschluss der Studie. Insbesondere das Monitoring der klinischen Daten und Ergebnisse fällt in deinen Aufgabenbereich, außerdem erstellst du Studiendokumente in deutscher und englischer Sprache und dokumentierst die Zusammenarbeit mit den Prüfzentren.

Etwa die Hälfte deiner Zeit arbeitest du vom Büro aus, die andere Hälfte bist du deutschlandweit unterwegs und stellst bei regelmäßigen Besuchen der Studienzentren den reibungslosen sowie korrekten Ablauf und die Detailgenauigkeit der Studien sicher. Außerdem leitest du das Studienteam am Prüfzentrum an, um Qualitätsstandards zu wahren. Als CRA arbeitest du eng mit Study Nurses, Prüfärzt:innen, dem Mainzer wie internationalen Studienteams von Novo Nordisk, Kolleg/innen von Medizin, Zulassung und Quality Assurance sowie Ethikkommissionen zusammen – dabei sind Diplomatie, Kommunikationsstärke und Durchsetzungsfähigkeit, kombiniert mit dem nötigen Feingefühl gefragt. Denn hier gilt es, die Bedürfnisse der verschiedenen Interessengruppen zu identifizieren und zu priorisieren. Etwa die Hälfte deiner Zeit arbeitest du am Mainzer Standort. Je nach Profil und Qualifikation lässt sich dies mit einer Mobile-Office-Lösung aber auch flexibel gestalten. Die andere Hälfte bist du deutschlandweit unterwegs und stellst bei regelmäßigen Besuchen der Studienzentren den reibungslosen sowie korrekten Ablauf und die Detailgenauigkeit der Studien sicher.

Deine Qualifikationen

Naturwissenschaftlicher oder medizinischer Hochschulabschluss (gerne PhD-Level) oder eine Ausbildung im Pflegeberuf mit mehrjähriger Erfahrung bei der Durchführung klinischer Prüfungen Erfahrungen in der klinischen Forschung, darunter aktives On-Site-Monitoring von klinischen Studien und Durchführung aller Besuchstypen oder in der Durchführung von klinischen Studien, z. B. als Study Nurse oder Study Coordinator an einer Klinik bzw. einem Studienzentrum Fließende Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift Sicherer Umgang mit den gängigen Computer- und Internetanwendungen Strukturierte und eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise, Organisationsfähigkeit sowie ein hohes Maß an Glaubwürdigkeit, Teamfähigkeit, Verantwortungsbewusstsein, Zuverlässigkeit und Genauigkeit.
