We are looking for a

Student Research Assistant - AI and Data Science in German Government (gn)

part-time (10 hours/week), to start in August 2024. The successful candidate will work with the team of the AI Certificate Programme, an initiative funded by the Dieter Schwart Stiftung.

Your tasks:

Develop teaching materials and assignments Support the content development of the training modules, which include modules on fundamentals of machine learning and data science Research on case studies to be used for teaching Harmonize materials across modules Coordinate with module instructors on content development

Your profile:

Comprehensive knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and data science (e.g., equivalent to the first two semesters of the Master of Data Science for Public Policy or a comparable program) Experience with R and Python Excellent pedagogical skills (you should be able to break down key concepts for highly motivated professionals with no background in machine learning and data science) Knowledge of challenges with the practical implementation of artificial intelligence and machine learning is a plus German language skills are a plus
