On behalf of our customer the European Space Agency, we are seeking a proactive Software PA Support Engineer to join our team and work at the prestigious ESA-ESOC site in Germany. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to work with one of the world's leading space agencies
Main Responsibilities
As Software PA Support Engineer you will concentrate your activities on the following:
Contribute to the establishing of the programmatic and technical software PA requirements within the framework of the ESA Software policy. Evaluate Contractors’ plans, technical specifications and efforts proposed for the execution of S/W PA programme. Monitor and evaluate S/W PA analyses, reports and technical notes. Participate to project reviews, meetings, Configuration Control Boards, Non-conformance Review Boards and Software Review Boards. Prepare design trade-offs, analyses and reports using metrics to support project decisions. Participate to software product evaluations and process assessments. Establish and maintain databases to track NCRs, RFWs, action items etc. as required.
Successful Candidate
Do you think you are the person we are looking for? See below what experience or knowledge you should bring :
Master’s degree or equivalent in IT Systems or (Network) Engineering. 4 years of relevant work experience. Experience in the management, operation and maintenance of critical data center IT systems and understanding the full range of M&E equipment in a modern critical data center environment. ITIL Service Lifecycle Foundation, CNET Data Centre Certification would be an asset. Comfortable with working in a diverse and multinational team environment. Excellent interpersonal skills are needed, together with a high degree organizational and communication abilities. Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken. Knowledge of another EU member state language is an asset.
