Aufgaben


As Head of Board Office, you will take over the department and build up a small team. You will report to the Head of Legal & Compliance / General Counsel of thyssenkrupp nucera. You will be responsible for the management of the Board Office where you will work closely with the various organizational functions of thyssenkrupp nucera, in particular with the departments Strategy and M&A, Project Management Office, Communications & ESG, Project Risk Control & QM, Investor Relations, Finance and Controlling, Accounting & Risk. You will prepare top management documents (e.g., presentations, briefings) and analyses. Moreover, you will support the Management Board and Supervisory Board in the context of operational and key relevant projects and formats. You will support and advise the Management Board and Supervisory Board in the context of committee management, in particular with meeting organization, coordination and preparation of meeting documents, writing protocols, correspondence and follow-up work. You will coordinate and prioritize the flow of information to and from top management and take an active role in ensuring quality gates. You will take on special tasks from the Management Board and Supervisory Board. You will be responsible for the implementation of and adherence to appropriate processes that ensure a best-in-class corporate governance of Management Board and Supervisory Board matters. You will guide and advise the organizational functions in their interaction with the Management Board and Supervisory Board to assert the adherence to stakeholder expectations and corporate governance standards.

Profil


You have successfully completed your studies in economics, business administration, communications, or law. You have professional experience, ideally in the area of Management Consulting, Board Office, Board Assistance, PMO or Legal. Moreover, you can demonstrate several years of leadership experience. You have proven your ability to lead your peers and to motivate people even in challenging situations. Ideally, you can demonstrate knowledge of the governance of listed corporations. You have strong stakeholder management skills, are discreet and have experience of working with top management. You have strong abilities to form relationships and networks inside and outside the organization. You combine assertiveness, diplomacy and emotional intelligence to ensure the appropriate standing and effectiveness of the Board Office throughout the organization. You enjoy project and process management and can also implement short-term adjustments if necessary. You are characterized by special communication skills as well as strong organizational competence and persuasiveness. The ability to work in a team, social skills and empathy are just as natural for you as they are for us. Very good written and spoken English and a good command of MS Office round off your profile.
