Ihre Aufgaben

Further improvement, community management and maintenance of the widely used and famous open source tooling developed in our group, namely, Datavzrd, Rust-Bio, and Varlociraptor, as well as active participation in the Bioconda project Development and maintenance of Snakemake-based biomedical data analysis workflows with a particular focus on applications in precision medicine

Ihr Profil

You have completed a PhD in computer science, applied mathematics, technical medicine or related disciplines You are highly motivated to expand your knowledge in bioinformatics, genomics, transcriptomics, precision medicine You have experience in biomedical data analysis, software engineering, programming with Python and (optionally) Rust as well as workflow development with Snakemake You are proficient in English
