Ihre Aufgaben
- You are a talented and passionate scientist who likes to take on new challenges and responsibilities, and enjoys being part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Your project will focus on thyroid cancer and the effect of thyroid hormones on tumour progression and involves _in vivo_ studies on animal models, iPSC technology, molecular and immunbiology with direct translational significance.
- The project will be performed in the highly stimulating environment of the SFB/TR 296 focusing on local control of thyroid hormone action in health and disease within the University Alliance Ruhr.Ihr Profil
- PhD degree in life sciences or biomedical sciences (e.g. biology, (bio)chemistry, animal sciences, physiology, immunology)
- Willingnes to work with animal models
- Experience in molecular methods (DNA, RNA, protein isolation and analysis; biochemical assays, flow cytometry, ELISA, immunohistochemistry)
- Experience with cell culture sterile technique
- Experience in tissue preparation and analysis (e.g. RNA-sequencing) is a plus
- Flexible and team oriented way of working
- Organizational abilities; able to work independently and follow through on assignment
- Able to organize and present results
- Excellent command of English in both, oral and written form are a prerequisite
