Publication Channel Specialist

In this position you are responsible to assess, improve and coordinate data exports & on-going fitness-for-purpose of digital channels. You identify and recommend needed updates or enrichments of data exports for external channels.

The Publication Channel Specialist (m/f/d) is creating, developing and supporting ready-to-use data exports according aligned planning. All deliveries are based on global publication structures and aligned localization. For the supported channels (e.g. eCatalogue, eCommerce, external data platforms) you clarify & define the target data delivery. Furthermore, you collect & analyse needed information for best-in-class data deliveries for external digital channels. In your position, you clarify needed business requirements & ensure in-time delivery of localized data exports. Your role is important for the recommendation of data deliveries based on market requirements, benchmark and customer journey.

Your mission

• You get an overall overview for relevant company own and external publication channels per market as well as a clear understanding of business & channel requirements for data exchange formats (e.g. ETIM, BMEcat, FAB-DIS) in the supported markets
• You recommend the best data export format and automized content delivery for defined channels related to market portfolios
• You ensure production & data delivery per market related to the season planning
• You have got a clear understanding of the customer journey related to specific data exports, display & usage to recommend how to structure and deliver data in different channel exports
• You collect & share information regarding business requirements, benchmark and customer journey to ensure best user experience for specific channels and product portfolios
• You prioritize open & new tasks and align with Data Managers, Publication Quality Specialists and Content enrichment team

Your profile

• You successfully completed a Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or a related qualification to understand the technical requirements
• You have got 3-5 years’ work experience in a related field or similar position
• Your knowledge about Product Information Management or eCommerce enables you to get an overview of the publication channels and their usage for the company
• Data Hub knowledge or experiences with data exchange format (ETIM, BMEcat, FAB-DIS) would be a plus for the position
• You have got a high affinity for data architecture, standardized data exchange format and digitalization of product information
• With your fluent English language skills (C1) you can easily communicate and collaborate with your international colleagues and German and/or French language skills would be considered as an asset
