Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced S/4HANA Integration and Cutover Expert who will take on responsibilities in a global S/4HANA template rollout project. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP systems, particularly S/4HANA, and extensive experience in managing integration and cutover activities within large-scale ERP implementation projects. Beyond solid technical expertise this role requires the ability to manage multiple project streams in a complex environment. 

Key Responsibilities

Integration Management: Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of integration strategies across multiple systems and modules within the S/4HANA landscape. Ensure seamless data flow and process integration between S/4HANA and other SAP/non-SAP systems. Collaborate and manage with METRO. Digital, functional, and technical teams to develop integration scenarios, including data migration, interfaces, and middleware, and sharing industry best practices to enable state-of-art system integration capabilities 

Cutover Planning and Execution: Develop and manage various comprehensive cutover plans, including detailed tasks, timelines, resource allocation, logistics, and risk management per legal entity. Provide guidance and best practices for local integration and migration and manage local cut-over manager. Coordinate cutover activities across all teams, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems to the S/4HANA environment. Manage the execution of dry runs and mock cutovers, validating readiness for go-live 

Project Management: Support project management, including progress tracking and reporting, issue resolution, technical documentation creation and updates, and stakeholder communication. Demonstrate proficiency with a range of tools, , Excel, Wrike. Work closely with the technical lead to align integration, cutover, and testing activities with the overall project plan and identify and mitigate associated risks. Ensure communication with all stakeholders 

Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for integration and cutover-related queries and concerns. Collaborate with business users’ functional teams and manage the external partner to ensure alignment and successful delivery of project objectives. Provide training and support to key users and project team members on integration and cutover processes 

Qualifications

Experience: 10+ years of experience in a multinational IT project setting, and at least 6 years in a leadership role in either integration or cutover (in total), minimum 6 go-lives across multiple countries 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field 

Skills: Proven expertise in SAP integration and cutover management, combined with basic knowledge of SAP modules (, FI/CO, MM, SD, PP) and their integration points is necessary. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment along with great communication and interpersonal skills are desired, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels 

Certifications: PMP or SAP certification is of advantage but not required 

Languages: Excellent command of English (written and spoken) is a must 

Living experience in Europe and working experience in a European-based company
