Legal is the heart: We are working in a highly regulated environment. Everything we do is connected to law. As the heart pumps the blood to the body, legal is pumping our business to the market. We work close together with business, management and all other stakeholders of the company. Our mission is to enable Trade Republic to provide the best service and the best product to our customers in the existing legal framework. This is an everyday challenge getting the best out of us.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Work closely with our Head of Legal on various projects and take the lead on all commercial law questions within the organization
Support our rapid growth and internationalization by finding tailor made solutions which will not cause delay but promote our mission
Proactively look out for ways to improve commercial agreements but also advise on best practises how to “live” those post conclusion
Liaise with external law firms on legal issues related to commercial law and our internationalization
Work with the entire legal team on other “allrounder” topics as they emerge
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You are a German fully qualified lawyer and have completed the first and second state law examinations with above-average results
You already have at least 3+ years professional commercial law experience in a renowned law firm and/or in an international company
You are an expert in Commercial law and bring expertise in financial markets and products to the table
Problem-solving and driving change by using innovative solutions is for you a matter of course
You are a true star when it comes to stakeholder management
Very good written and spoken German and English, other languages are an advantage
Experience with IP/IT and unfair competition law would be a plus
Experience in advising high-growth, VC-backed start-up/scale-up companies would be a plus
