Development engineer

What to expect:

You are responsible for the design, layout and calculation of refrigerant valves for automotive applications You will create and coordinate CAD models (2D+3D Catia V5) You will also be responsible for the management of release, trial and test data You create and coordinate drawings, GD&T and parts lists You coordinate requirement and functional specifications in exchange with internal and external stakeholders You coordinate the components/drawings in close cooperation with external partners in Germany and internationally You take into account and follow technical and time specifications in the project process Finally, you will be responsible for prototype management, including the provision of subcomponents for prototype construction and the coordination of suppliers

What you bring along:

You are a mechanical/electrical engineer or have a comparable degree in engineering (e.g. energy, chemical, process or environmental engineering) You have very good CAD skills, ideally in Catia V5 Good knowledge of GD&T and tolerance management are among your skills You have knowledge of the requirements of automotive development, such as environmental tests, reliability requirements, etc. You have basic knowledge of the most common manufacturing processes and production-oriented design You have experience with thermodynamic, energy or environmental processes You are customer-oriented in every way (e.g. communication, presentation, etc.) You have a good command of written and spoken English You bring along strong teamwork skills and flexibility You are adept at using the most common IT programs such as MS Office
