OverviewWe are Seeking a Construction Manger to Join our Data Centre team in Germany.Reporting to the Project Director, the Construction Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion. The role ensures that work is carried out safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager provides leadership to project teams, manages client and stakeholder relationships, and ensures compliance with all contractual, regulatory and company requirements.John Sisk & Son have been building excellence as a family-owned international construction company by offering trust, certainty and value to our clients whilst being at the heart of change. ResponsibilitiesProject DeliveryPlan, manage and deliver projects in line with agreed programme, budget and specifications• Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, commercial, design and construction functions• Monitor progress, manage risks and implement corrective actions where required• Ensure resources are effectively allocated and project milestones are achieved• Maintain accurate reporting on progress, costs, quality and performance indicatorsQuality, Safety and Compliance• Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental performance across all activities• Ensure all works comply with design, specifications and statutory regulations• Implement and monitor project-specific quality plans, method statements and inspection regimes• Support audits, inspections and reviews to maintain compliance and continuous improvementCommercial and Contract Management• Manage budgets, forecasts, variations and project cash flow• Work closely with the commercial team to ensure accurate reporting and contract administration• Ensure procurement processes are followed and subcontractor performance is managed effectively• Support tendering and bid processes where requiredLeadership and Communication• Lead project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability and professional development• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners• Chair progress and coordination meetings, ensuring clear communication of objectives and outcomes• Act as the key point of contact for project-related queries, decisions and escalationsExperienceEssentialProven experience managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completionStrong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage teams and subcontractorsExcellent understanding of project delivery processes including scheduling, cost control and quality managementKnowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and best practiceStrong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skillsDesirableExperience delivering projects in sectors such as life sciences, data centres, infrastructure or commercial constructio Understanding of digital project delivery tools including BIM and project management softwareCommercial awareness including contract law and cost management principlesAbility to lead continuous improvement initiatives and promote innovationQualificationsEssentialDegree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related disciplineDemonstrated experience in project management within a Tier 1 construction or engineering environmentRelevant health and safety certification (e.g. Safe Pass, CSCS, SMSTS or equivalent)DesirableProfessional membership or working towards membership of a recognised body (e.g. CIOB, Engineers Ireland, RICS, ICE)Postgraduate qualification in project management or business managementTraining in lean construction, digital project delivery or sustainability practicesAdditional InformationCompetitive salary26 days annual leave plus additional company daysPension and benefitsUnlimited learning and development opportunitiesMuch moreOur People and Recruitment CommitmentAt Sisk Group our people are at the heart of our success.
