You will be responsible for:Technological commissioning and process set-up of hot rolling mills for steel and aluminium like conventional hot-strip-mills, heavy plate mills, Steckel-mills, CSP®-hot-strip-mills resp. aluminum hot strip mills and aluminium plate mills, etc.Optimizing process parameters to secure the product quality and production capacity targetsAnalyzing operating data with focus on mechanical systems, automation equipment and processesDrawing up optimization measures and initiating relevant measures in the commissioning teamConducting and documenting the acceptance testsIndependently carrying out service assignments for repairs and maintenanceFeeding the main operating results back into the companyTraining our customersSIE WISSENYou have a degree in engineering and you are working as a rolling mill manger resp. rolling mill foreman or similar for a couple of years; you should also have:Experience in the practical operation of hot flat rolling mills in steel or aluminum industryKnowledge and experience of mechatronic systemsKnowledge for evaluating plant dataWork proficient English skillsAn independent and target-oriented approach to workTeamworking skills, openness, strong ability to perform under stressA willingness to travel on business for long periods of timeWillingness to relocate is not required - if possible, you will be deployed close to your place of residenceWIR ÜBERZEUGENAs an innovative and international employer, we offer you a performance-oriented salary package and the opportunity to achieve the ideal family/work life balance, e.g. with our in-house children's daycare center, flexible working hour models, and homeworking options.
