Become a part of our future at SMS group GmbH, where we're looking to recruit a person internationally as YOU ACT Your responsibilities cover the worldwide commissioning of processing lines and rolling mills for flat products. You will be responsible for: Preparation and implementation of commissioning of plant equipment and process set-up for flat products. Familiarity with the various processes involved in strip processing, such as joining processes (welding or stitching), cutting processes (shearing or side trimming), thermal processing, and coating processes (application of metallic coatings and paints) is essential Optimizing process parameters to secure the product quality and production capacity targets Analyzing operating data with focus on mechanical systems, automation equipment and processes Drawing up optimization measures and initiating relevant measures in the commissioning team Conducting and documenting the acceptance tests Independently carrying out service assignments for repairs and maintenance Feeding the main operating results back into the company Training our customers YOU KNOW You have a degree in engineering or have completed technical/industrial vocational training with relevant further upskill qualifications (rolling mill foreman); you should also have:Experience in the practical operation of processing lines, cold rolling mills in steel, aluminum or copper industryKnowledge and experience of mechatronic systemsKnowledge for Evaluating Plant DataGood written and spoken EnglishAn independent and target-oriented approach to workTeamworking skills, openness, strong ability to perform under stressA willingness to travel on business for long periods of timeWillingness to relocate is not required - if possible, you will be deployed close to your place of residence WE CONVINCE As an innovative and international employer, we offer you a performance-oriented salary package and the opportunity to achieve the ideal family/work life balance, e.g. with our in-house children's daycare center, flexible working hour models, and homeworking options. S.
