Become a part of our talented deugro team, as we look for a Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) inHanau, Germany.Key responsibilities: Personnel responsibility for the assigned project teamProject management including project implementation, controlling, and escalation, as well as the creation and communication of lessons learned throughout the project lifecycleTeam development through the assignment of suitable projects and/or project shipmentsProactive collaboration with the Operations Team to ensure full understanding and smooth execution of all contractual requirementsEnd-to-end order processing, covering all necessary tasks from customer order placement to file closure (including invoicing)Leading and contributing to strategic tender activities in close coordination with branch management and colleagues, involving regional tender management and other stakeholders (e.g., Global Support Functions)Leading project negotiations and clarification meetingsBusiness and financial controlling for the department and individual projectsCustomer care and support for existing domestic and international clients, generating new business with existing customers including offer creation and follow-up; collaboration with Global Key Account Management and the national Sales Team GermanyEstablishing new customer relationships and generating new business within existing structures, including offer creation and follow-upDeveloping and maintaining efficient and effective process organization; supporting the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure such as CargoWise, PTL, and implementing internal SOPsEnsuring quality across all processes and workflows, and supporting the implementation of the group's strategic goalsEnsuring interaction and collaboration with other deugro offices and departmentsSkills, knowledge and expertise:Successfully completed training and/or studies in the field of freight forwardingAt least 8 years' experience in project cargo freight forwarding, including breakbulk and heavy lift operations, ocean chartering, contracts management, project managementExcellent contacts within the industry and global networkA team player attitude with a distinctive hands-on mentalityEnjoyment in working in a culturally diverse and dynamic environmentVery good German- and English skills, written and verbalThe willingness to travel on national and international business trips (10-25%)What makes us the ideal choice?
