You will lead your team and ensure alignment with business objectives, driving efficiency and innovation across procurement processes.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy leading cross-functional collaboration, and have a passion for delivering high-quality, customized solutions, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing industry.We are looking for a Senior Manager Procurement (m/f/d) to join our team in Stuttgart or Dresden.Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesProcurement: Lead the procurement process for Engineering and Construction Services, MEP Equipment from market analysis and supplier engagement to contract award and performance management.Negotiations: Support commercial negotiations and contract drafting in collaboration with legal and project teams.Supplier Management: Build strong, long-term supplier relationships, negotiate on equal footing, and act as an escalation point for availability, quality, or cost issues.Performance Management: Manage supplier performance through KPIs, regular reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.Leadership: Provide functional and disciplinary leadership for strategic procurement teams that specialize in a certain area of expertise, e.g. CSA, Mechanical, Process and Electrical.Team Development: Support the professional development of your team through regular feedback sessions and clear target setting.Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies, EU procurement regulations, and sustainability objectives.Process Improvement: Challenge existing structures and establish efficient processes. Show your expertiseDegree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related fieldExtensive experience in strategic procurement with a strong focus on large construction and engineering projectsProven track record of delivering procurement strategies for large scale projectsUnderstanding of project delivery models (EPC, EPCM, etc.) and contract managementProven leadership experience and strong negotiation skillsAdvanced IT skills, especially MS Office and ERP systems (ideally SAP S4 / HANA, SAP ARIBA)Experience working in a multinational, matrixed organizationWillingness to travel and ability / enthusiasm to lead and motivate a teamFluent in German and English with excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsWhat we offer youAre you looking for challenging projects?
