A good understanding of: Kubernetes, Cloud, Terraform and general software engineering Nice-to-Haves: Software engineering background (e.g., experience in development beyond platform work). You see tools as tools and learn new ones fast when the job calls for it You understand that an engineering org is a socio-technical system and no change is ever just a change" You have a solid grasp of distributed systems and care about quality attributes like availability, reliability, correctness, but know when pragmatism beats perfection You have a startup mindset: collaborative, hands-on, and adaptable, and a bonus if you have a software engineering background - because it's easier to design a great car when you also drive it
