About our client Our client is a fast-growing company in the energy and infrastructure sector, backed by an international investment firm. As part of a focused buy-and-build strategy, the company is scaling rapidly and plays a central role in the energy transition. This is a hands-on, high-impact position where you'll contribute directly to the company's growth journey. What the job involves In this role, you will work directly with the management team on a broad range of initiatives to drive both organic and inorganic growth Your work will focus on a mix of operational strategy and acquisition-driven projects Supporting the identification and execution of add-on acquisitions (target screening, financial modelling due diligence coordination, and deal execution) Assisting in the strategic development of the business, including market analysis, performance tracking, and integration planning Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, including advisors and the investment firm Preparing materials for board and shareholder communication Who we are looking for First full-time experience in investment banking, ideally with exposure to energy and infrastructure transactions. Alternatively comparable experience within a private equity fund or PE-backed portfolio company A strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related field Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, coupled with commercial intuition A hands-on, low-ego personality who thrives in a small team environment and is eager to roll up their sleeves Strategic thinker, able to persuade through evidence-based conviction Excellent interpersonal skills with fluent English and German language skills #LI-MA1 You will be redirected to the company’s website – you must complete the application on their platform to apply.
