Project Manager Freight Forwarding

DP World is driving rapid expansion of its Freight Forwarding business. This growth requires a structured and well- established PMO function to ensure strategic alignment, process standardization, and disciplined project execution. We are looking for a Project Manager who will help us in our mission to steer Regional Freight Forwarding strategy and lead implementation projects. In this role, you will be supporting Freight Forwarding products (Air/Ocean/Road) in the effort to build up capabilities as well as drive continuous improvement projects.

Your Responsibilities:

• Drive and manage projects from initiation to closing stage
• Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and risks aligned with PMO standards
• Drive cross-functional collaboration involving operations, commercial, finance, HR and IT
• Ensure all project deliverables, milestones, and KPIs are met on time and within budget
• Support Business Integration of newly acquired companies
• Project manage efforts around System Deployment (e.g. TMS) and related dependencies to other projects
• Coach business & branches on project management competencies/skills
• Ensure that business impacts of projects are properly managed and possible risks are pro-actively communicated with the concerned stakeholders – i.e. create risk assessments, business cases, etc.
• Ensure that sponsors of projects are actively engaged and to escalate to the Product/ Cluster/Country Manager concerned

• Support Project Teams/Resources to identify and resolve issues & risks that impact project completion

Skills and Experiences:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 4–7 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations, with proven exposure to project execution – experience with integrations is a plus
• Formal project management training or certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA) is highly desirable
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, capable of designing scalable PMO tools, portfolio trackers, and performance dashboards
• Fluency in English and German, additional languages (e.g. French, Dutch) are a plus
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
