Team presentation

Our growth team is made up of 16 investment professionals, spread across our Berlin, London and Paris offices
. We typically invest from several tens to several hundreds of million euros in each company and have the ability to reinvest over time.

We invest in tech companies from a variety of sectors,
particularly software, marketplaces and fintech. To provide the best support to our entrepreneurs, we have built strong expertise over time around important themes such as M&A, recruitment, geographical expansion, structuring or financing. Our portfolio includes category leading companies such as Doctolib, Commercetools, Cognigy, Back Market, Dataiku, Vestiaire Collective, Bird, Payfit, and many more.

Responsibilities

I. SOURCING

  • Carry out deep dives on market verticals and trends
  • Identify new investment opportunities for our portfolio
  • Establish relationships and engage with management of potential target startups

II. DUE DILIGENCE & EXECUTION

  • Assist on due diligence (attend expert calls, support historical performance analysis, valuation, business plan analysis and modelling)
  • Contribute to elaborate our investment thesis
  • Prepare materials for the investment committee

III. PORTOFOLIO

  • Participate in portfolio management support
  • Help report portfolio performance to our LPs

Key Success Factors

  • At least one meaningful (3+ months) professional experience in M&A / Private Equity
  • Strong passion for the startup & scale up ecosystem as well as deep interest in new technologies
  • High motivation, curiosity, willingness to learn and willingness to go the extra mile
  • Completed Bachelor's degree (at start of internship)
  • Fluency in English and German (speaking and writing)
