Technical Support Engineer

Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Apply
    ITIL v4 practices
    across incident, service request, problem, and change management processes.
  • Conduct
    regular system and data-interface monitoring
    , ensuring application uptime, server resource availability, and smooth integrations across platforms.
  • Utilize
    ServiceNow
    for end-to-end incident, request, and change workflows, including
    knowledge base ownership
    and documentation updates.
  • Perform
    basic SQL queries, log analysis, interface checks, and controlled data fixes
    to support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
  • Execute
    release and testing activities
    for minor configuration changes and ensure proper validation before deployment.
  • Manage
    stakeholder communication
    , providing timely updates and clear operations-focused support.
  • Maintain and update
    runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles
    for supported applications and integrations.
  • Use
    basic PowerShell/Python scripting
    for routine checks, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate
    change windows, cutovers, and operational readiness activities
    with cross-functional teams.
  • Uphold service performance through
    SLA tracking, MTTR monitoring, and quality assurance
    .
  • Apply domain knowledge in
    Chemical Process Engineering, Laboratory Information Management, PHD Historian, EHS Management, Contract Management, and IT Administrative processes
    to support business applications.

    Incident logging, data integrity checks, compliance/audit evidence support.

    Audit workflows, evidence packs, reporting assistance.

    Contractor onboarding, training management, and user support.
  • DMS:
    Document governance, policy/work instruction updates, access control support.
  • BDD Reception:
    Visitor master-data management, GDPR compliance checks.
  • Persons on Site:
    Real-time display monitoring, data feed and UI support.
  • ExercicesQHSE:
    QHSE training and exercise scheduling/reporting.
  • SimU Share:
    Simulation software support, licensing, and user training.
  • SiPass:
    Badge/gate access configuration (IT side), role management, audit logs.
  • Gestion Prêt Journalier:
    Asset/loan tracking, user interface support.
  • ControleSecuritas:
    Security task validation workflows, minor configuration.
  • Main Courante Réception:
    Reception log system, reporting, and data quality.
  • Vignette Parking:
    Parking management web application, configuration and user support.
  • REACH:
    Supplier SDS management, SharePoint legacy workflows, compliance evidence.
