The Opportunity:
As a Language-Enabled Engagements Officer on our team, you will leverage your expertise in the Ukrainian language and military terminology to support strategic and defense partner engagements. You will facilitate two-way conversations between English and Ukrainian speakers, ensuring accuracy and cultural nuance in both bilateral and multilateral settings. You'll conduct research and analysis of partner-language documents, delivering concise executive summaries that advance mission objectives and strengthen partner understanding.

Drawing on your knowledge of Ukrainian geography, you will help plan and execute engagements while providing subject matter expertise to enhance collaboration. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor who bridges operational goals with linguistic and cultural insight, ensuring clear communication that drives mission success.

You Have:

• Experience supporting strategic and defense partner engagements as a desk officer or security cooperation and engagements planner
• Experience in military lexicon and terminology
• Experience summarizing Ukrainian documents in English and vice versa
• Experience supporting two-way conversations in English and Ukrainian
• Experience with conducting and executing military training and education
• Knowledge of Ukrainian geography
• Ability to use Microsoft Office software in both Ukrainian and English, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Ability to speak, read, and write in the Ukrainian language
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Knowledge of military doctrine, operations, and materiel
• Master's degree in a Linguistics, Translation Studies, or Ukrainian Language field

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
