Senior DevOps Engineer

Your mission

At Perelyn, we're seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic and highly skilled team. You will provide internal support for deploying and maintaining advanced projects, such as our healthcare initiative Adiu Health ). Additionally, you will act as a technical consultant for external clients, representing Perelyn's expertise and professionalism. There you will also have opportunities to develop your expertise in ML and specifically in MLOps.

Cloud Platform & Infrastructure

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures primarily on Azure (experience with AWS, GCP or on-premise is also highly valued).
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, security, and product teams to ensure robust and future-proof solutions.
• Support application developers in deploying, operating, and scaling their applications effectively on cloud infrastructure. 

Containerization & Platform Management

• Deep familiarity with Kubernetes, including deployment strategies, operations, and best practices.
• Manage and continuously optimize Docker-based container environments.
• Automate deployments and system configurations utilizing tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.

CI/CD & Automation

• Develop, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or a similar tool.
• Implement and improve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) processes to streamline deployment and manage environments.
• Support GitOps workflows leveraging tools such as Argo CD and GitLab.

Monitoring & Logging

• Implement and oversee observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Azure Monitor) to maintain application health and performance.
• Configure proactive alerts and detailed logging for rapid detection and resolution of operational issues.

Collaboration & Communication

• Operate within an agile/Scrum environment, closely collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Represent Perelyn professionally during client meetings or technical discussions, effectively communicating complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Foster trust and credibility through professional interactions internally and externally.

Your profile

Professional Experience

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related fields.
• Proven expertise managing container-based infrastructures with at least two reference projects.

Cloud & Container Expertise

• Strong proficiency in at least one major public cloud provider (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP beneficial).
• Extensive experience managing container environments (Docker and Kubernetes).

Automation & IaC

• Familiarity with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or equivalent Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies.
• Practical experience developing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines.

Growth & Continuous Learning

• Demonstrated interest in continuously evolving technical skill sets.
• Background or interest in ML/MLOps beneficial, but not mandatory.

Language & Communication Skills

• Fluent German (C1) and English (C1) language skills required.
• Able to confidently represent Perelyn towards external customers and convincingly perform in interview situations.
• Strong ability to clearly communicate technical solutions internally and externally.
