Ihre Aufgaben

• Entwicklung von Embedded Software und Tools für elektrische Komponenten und Systeme für E-Bike Antriebe vom Konzept bis zur Serieneinführung
• Erarbeitung von Konzepten, Architekturen sowie Spezifikationen basierend auf CAN-Bus und Bluetooth low energy
• Verantwortung für die Integration von HMI, Remote und Display
• Schnittstellenbetreuung zu Systemkomponenten insbes. BMS
• Unterstützung bei der Entwicklung der Fahrsteuerungen und Antriebsregelung
• Erstellung von Testspezifikationen, Reviews und Freigaben innerhalb des Softwareentwicklungsprozesses
• Entwicklung von Software-Teststrategien und Implementierung von automatisierten Softwaretests, Betreuung von Unit-, Integrations- und Systemtests
• Dokumentation und Versionierung der Software, Code Review
• Eigenverantwortliche Arbeit in Projektteam sowie Analyse und Planung von Arbeitspaketen in enger Abstimmung und Zusammenarbeit mit Hardware- und Frontendentwicklern
• Potenzielles Interesse an einer Gruppenleitung

Ihr Profil

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der Fachrichtung Elektrotechnik, Nachrichtentechnik, technische Informatik, Informationstechnik, Mechatronik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation mit entsprechender beruflicher Praxis
• Erfahrungen im Bereich E-Bike Antriebssysteme und entsprechender Schnittstellen (CAN-BUS)
• Erfahrungen im Umgang mit HMI, Remote und Display und entsprechender Schnittstellen (BLE)
• Fundiertes Anwendungswissen der Programmiersprachen Python und C/C++
• Erfahrung im Bereich Embedded Softwareentwicklung (Echtzeitsysteme)
• Erfahrung im Umgang mit Konfigurations- und Versionierungs- und Dokumentations- und Testwerkzeugen (z.B. GIT, DOXYGEN …)
• Erfahrungen beim Softwareentwurf nach dem V-Modell Standard
• Grundkenntnisse zu elektrischen Antrieben und Aktuatoren, Schnittstellen und Protokolle
• Selbstständige Arbeitsweise, Termintreue und Teamfähigkeit
• Beherrschen der englischen Sprache in Wort und Schrift

We design, manufacture, and market cutting-edge e-bike drive systems and complete electric cargo bikes, combining engineering excellence with outstanding product reliability.

We are now seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer eager to shape the future of e-bike technology with us.

Your Responsibilities:

• Development of embedded software and tools for electrical components and systems for e-bike drives, from concept to series production
• Design of concepts, architectures, and specifications based on CAN bus and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
• Responsibility for the integration of HMI, remote controls, and displays
• Interface coordination with system components, especially Battery Management Systems (BMS)
• Support in the development of ride control and drive regulation systems
• Creation of test specifications, reviews, and approvals within the software development process
• Development of software test strategies and implementation of automated software tests, including unit, integration, and system testing
• Documentation and version control of software, including code reviews
• Independent work within project teams, including analysis and planning of work packages in close collaboration with hardware and frontend developers
• Potential interest in taking on a lead role in the future

Your Profile:

• Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer engineering, information technology, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
• Experience in e-bike drive systems and related interfaces (CAN bus)
• Experience with HMI, remote controls, and displays, including relevant interfaces (BLE)
• Solid practical knowledge of programming languages Python and C/C++
• Experience in embedded software development (real-time systems)
• Familiarity with configuration, version control, documentation, and testing tools (e.g., GIT, DOXYGEN)
• Experience in software design according to the V-model standard
• Basic knowledge of electric drives and actuators, interfaces, and protocols
• Independent working style, reliability in meeting deadlines, and strong team skills
• Proficient in English end German, both written and spoken
