About SumUp
We believe in the everyday hero — those who have the courage to follow their passion and the determination to realise their dreams.

Small business owners are at the heart of everything we do. That's why we're building powerful, easy-to-use financial solutions to help them run their businesses. Team Description
You'll join the team behind SumUp's global relationships with banks, acquirers, and card schemes. This small, high-impact team drives our ability to launch new markets, optimise transaction costs, and maintain compliance and reliability in every payment we process.

As a Payment Partnerships Manager, you'll support ongoing partner relationships, coordinate operational and compliance requests, and help strengthen SumUp's global payment network. You'll collaborate closely with our PayOps, Compliance, Legal, and Finance teams — working at the intersection of strategy, operations, and partner management.

  • Support compliance and KYC refresh processes in collaboration with internal teams
  • Maintain regular partner communications and assist in meetings, reporting, and follow-ups
  • Work cross-functionally with PayOps, Finance, and Compliance to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of partnership requirements

  • You're familiar with payment ecosystems: schemes, acquirers, issuers, or PSPs.
  • You have an analytical mindset and commercial and financial acumen (e.g. understanding incentives, transaction economics, fee structures).
