About Your Future Role

In this position, you will:

  • Drive, monitor and steer commercial performance by working with all DACH departments, e.g. E2E sales steering, Sales targets & incentive, proactive data analytics, implement Marketing Performance (ROMI) dashboard incl. lead generation Field- & Telesales and marketing campaigns
  • Work closely with sales channel leads to continuously drive quality improvement (processes, customer engagement, sales funnel and lead generation)
  • Provide key stakeholders with timely data on commercial performance, root cause analyses, scenario modeling and remediation suggestions to drive commercial decision-making
  • Act as force multiplier by driving alignment on key initiatives, enhancing cross-functional collaboration and ensuring timely execution of strategic priorities
    Translate strategy and business performance updates into relevant stakeholder communication (eg executive presentations, reports)

Key tasks

  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve relevant commercial KPIs and reports to monitor business performance
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure commercial and financial KPIs complement each other
  • Act as a bridge between departments (finance, sales, marketing…) to optimize profitability, growth, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to analyze pricing, margins, customer profitability, and commercial ROI.
  • Lead forecasting and budgeting processes related to sales and revenue planning.
  • Set und monitor relevant sales incentive programs
  • Drive and track execution of strategic sales and marketing plans as agreed with all departments
  • Responsible to develop material for relevant business stakeholder reviews (eg MBRs, strategy reviews)
  • Collaborating closely with Group MS to shape and drive key programs in DACH
  • Lead and manage the steering team and competence center, shaping the strategic direction of the team
    Mentor and coach junior commercial talent

Qualifications, Skills and Mindset

  • Ideal Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field or 10+ years of experience in commercial finance, business analysis, or sales operations.
  • Background in sales planning & steering, revenue management, commercial excellence initiatives, and campaign management preferred
  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
  • Experience in driving organizational, skill and mindset changes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Convinces through data and creating win-win solutions
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Experience in a multinational and matrixed organization.
  • Self motivated and driven to continuous improvement
  • Experience working directly with C-level executives
    Background in startups, tech, and high-growth environments.
