The Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Core Platform team. This is a highly technical, hands-on role at the heart of Numa's operational backbone — owning guest communication infrastructure, our dynamic guest trust scoring system, inventory services, and payment operations that directly impact guest experience and operational efficiency.

Beyond your core domain, you'll also be a driving force for AI automation across the company — partnering with our AI Automation Engineer to identify, prioritize, and ship automation initiatives. You'll lead our internal AI Ambassador Program, running workshops and working sessions to upskill teams and embed AI-first thinking across Numa.

Key Responsibilities
Core Platform Ownership
  • Guest Communication Infrastructure: Own the Guest Communication Service — the backbone of all guest interactions. Manage communication cost optimization across channels (Vonage, Twilio).
  • Dynamic Guest Trust Score: Develop and refine our intelligent trust scoring system that evaluates guests at reservation and individual level. Enable the business to dynamically adjust requirements — loosening friction for trusted guests to deliver exceptional experiences, while applying stricter controls where needed to reduce property incident rates.
  • Extra Services - Inventory Service: Own the core infrastructure and collaborate on inventory & upsell integrations (late checkout, early check-in, room upgrades, etc.).
  • Payment Management: Own our payment stack — PSP integrations (Stripe, , PayPal, Klarna), OTA payment processing, IBE payment enablement, payment links, and folio management.
  • Invoicing & Billing: Drive reliability and automation of invoice generation, billing contact management, payment reminders, and dunning processes.
AI Automation Leadership
  • Drive AI Initiatives: Identify and prioritize automation opportunities across teams. Partner with the AI Automation Engineer to ship high-impact projects.
  • Lead AI Ambassador Program: Facilitate regular workshops and working sessions to build AI fluency across the organization.
  • Champion AI-First Thinking: Be the go-to person for teams exploring AI/automation solutions for their domains.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Finance, Operations, and other product teams to align on priorities.
  • Work with Data teams to ensure data accuracy and enable reporting/analytics needs.
  • Collaborate with the Core Team Lead on roadmap prioritization and architectural decisions.
Key Success Metrics
  • Guest Trust Score Accuracy: Improve prediction accuracy and reduce property incident rates
  • Communication Efficiency: Optimize cost per guest while maintaining service quality
  • AI Automation Impact: Ship automation initiatives and measure hours saved across teams
  • Platform Reliability: Maintain high uptime and data accuracy for core services
  • Payment Operations: Improve transaction success rates and time-to-money
  • Collections Performance: Increase dunning recovery and reduce manual corrections
What We're Looking For
  • 4-6 years of product management experience, ideally in platform infrastructure, B2B SaaS, or tech-driven operations
  • Strong technical fluency — can read API docs, discuss data models, and debug issues alongside engineers
  • Experience building data-driven decision systems (scoring, rules engines, risk assessment, or similar)
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with AI/automation tools (RAG systems, workflow automation, LLMs) and ability to translate AI capabilities into business value
  • Hands-on with automation platforms — comfortable building workflows in tools like n8n, including simple API integrations combined with AI
  • Understanding of payment systems and financial data flows is a plus
  • Excellent structured communication — concise, problem-first, outcome-focused
  • Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and moves fast with limited direction
  • Fluent English; German is a plus
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience with hospitality, travel tech, or multi-property operations
  • Background in trust & safety, fraud prevention, or risk scoring systems
  • Scripting knowledge (Python) for data analysis or quick prototyping
  • Experience running internal enablement programs, workshops, or training
  • Understanding of data warehousing, ETL, or event-driven architectures
  • Experience with invoicing systems or accounts receivable optimization
