Job Description
- Responsibility for the development of mechanical components and assemblies – from the initial idea to series production
- Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop sustainable product solutions
- Technology evaluation and selection for the systematic resolution of technical challenges
- Management of the entire prototyping process – from CAD to validated prototypes
- Technical coaching within the department to promote expertise and team competence
Qualifications
- Completed degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar)
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in mechanical design
- Good knowledge of electronics required
- Very good CAD skills for modeling and creating drawings
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), as well as Jira and Confluence, is an advantage
- Independent and accurate work combined with a hands-on mentality, as well as extensive organizational and communication skills
- High problem-solving skills in collaboration with various departments
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
