Stellenbeschreibung

Our AI & Data team at RB Digital supports our clients from various industries along the entire data value chain. Now, we're expanding our capabilities through the Roland Berger AI Lab - dedicated to developing scalable Generative AI applications that unlock tangible business value for our clients and for ourselves.

You will work alongside Consultants and Data Scientists, contributing from day one to both client-facing projects and internal AI initiatives. Your task is to design and implement scalable GenAI solutions that address complex business challenges while ensuring seamless integration into the client's existing processes and organizational structures.  Utilizing tools like Databricks, Docker, MCP, LangGraph and Google ADK, you'll play a key role in developing multimodal agentic systems in platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Beyond the technical build, you will support the business side of C-level strategy consulting projects, focusing on topics centered around Generative AI. Clear communication is key, when presenting your findings to stakeholders, translating complex concepts into actionable insights.

  • A curated learning path covering advanced prompting, LLM evaluation, causal inference for language models, and responsible-AI frameworks.
Qualifikationen
  • Current Master's or PhD study in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with generative models, RAG architectures, prompt engineering or LLM evaluation techniques
  • Strong Python skills for scientific computing; basic SQL for data exploration
  • Ability to explain perplexity, bias, and model drift to non-technical audiences with clarity and confidence
  • Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset and a collaborative spirit
  • Excellent English. German is beneficial
