The Munich Marriott City West sets new benchmarks and standards in meetings & events. Inspired by the Bavarian lifestyle and with 398 guest rooms and suites and nearly 5000 sqm of public space, including a state-of-the-art conference center, customized and first-class event needs are put into practice. The upscale concept includes the Italian Assoluto restaurant & Vineria with open show kitchen, the Assoluto Deli and the westhub Lounge & Bar, offering an outstanding culinary offering combined with warm hospitality in a stylish ambience. Our guests are also delighted by the spectacular roof terrace and MClub Lounge with panoramic views over the city, all the way to the Bavarian Alps. The hotel is located in the lively Westend, centrally located in the immediate vicinity of Munich's Old Town and within walking distance of the famous Oktoberfest grounds.

Who we are looking for… 

You are a passionate host and approach our international guest clientele with warmth, openness and professionalism to make their events something special. Whether it is a conference, a congress or a wedding - you will be happy to support our banquet team at our creative and versatile events. With your flexible and motivated nature, you get a feel for the different sizes of our events and the wishes of our guests. 

What are your responsibilities are... 

• From set-up to implementation to dismantling - you and your colleagues will ensure that our events run smoothly. 

• Events always involve changes at short notice - you inspire our guests with your hands-on mentality. 

• Whether it's a parliamentary seating arrangement, full technical equipment or just 5 more flipcharts on the spur of the moment - you'll ensure the perfect set-up of our meeting rooms. 

• You always keep our meeting areas clean and tidy 

• With your smile you serve our food and drinks or always have an eye on the buffet and our creative coffee breaks 

• You proactively see the work and lend a hand in every service area and at any time of day 

What we want from you… 

• You have completed your training in the hotel industry or have already gained initial experience, ideally in banqueting 

• You are conversationally fluent in German and English  

• You are a team player who keeps eyes and ears open 

• Your open-minded nature and your drive for self-initiative enable you to learn from day to day 

• You are a hands-on person and implement new trends with great creativity 

• Your enthusiasm for excellent service is contagious
