Senior Staff Engineer Technology Development Integration

In your new role as Staff Engineer IC Technology Development (f/m/d), you will generate new and innovative processes concepts as well as optimize novel Smart Power Technologies. You will strengthen our international and highly motivated team in Dresden. The work will be performed in close collaboration with the teams of product development, unit process development, quality management and production located in Dresden, other Infineon sites as well as at international foundries.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Develop leading edge wafer technology for Smart Power applications
• Implement novel process concepts and modules
• Plan, coordinate and analyze process experiments
• Ensure fast and accurate development lot processing by close lot tracking and process stability and quality across the complete production flow
• Analyze and interpret data in order to derive necessary process optimizations and ta ke care of development-lot logistics and documentation
• Act as interface to fab, project management, device design, quality engineering & failure analysis, locally and on other international Infineon sites
• Support process development and transfer projects to and from international sites

Your Profile

You focus your efforts on finding solutions that offer added value for both the customer and Infineon, promote awareness for quality and are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A Master degree, PhD or comparable in microelectronics, microsystems, material science, electrical engineering or physics
• Experience in the field of process technology development (Si or other materials) or integration would be appreciated
• Knowledge in semiconductor physics and technology, device physics
• An analytical problem solving mindset
• A high level of self-motivation, result-focus, communication and team player skills
• Interested in and open for different cultures
• Very good English & German communication skills and presentation abilities
