Mid-Level Motion Designer (Freelance) @ OBJ.Studio Berlin

We are looking for a
Mid-Level Motion Designer
to join our team
for February and March
, contributing to client projects and supporting our visual storytelling across digital and spatial platforms.

Who You Are

You are an experienced freelancer who thrives in small, collaborative teams and has worked with design studios, agencies, or boutique creative teams. You have a
refined visual language
, a passion for culture and emerging technologies, and a strong sense of
aesthetic rhythm, composition, and motion in storytelling
.

Your Skillset

·      Strong visual style and a precise understanding of brand aesthetics, visual identity, and narrative motion.

·      Working knowledge of Blender, Figma, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop.

·      Familiarity with AI image generation tools (e.g., Midjourney, Kling, Flux, NanoBanana) at a beginner level, with an interest in using them to support visual research and concept development.

·      Basic experience with Illustrator and InDesign is a plus but not required.

·      Ability to
conceptualize ideas and translate concepts, information, and brand strategies into polished motion graphics
.

·      Good understanding of agency workflows, client feedback loops, and project delivery processes.

Your Working Style

·      Structured, reliable, and able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities in a small, fast-moving team.

·      Clear and efficient communicator who responds promptly and participates actively in feedback sessions.

·      Curious and proactive, with the drive to elevate concepts to the next level.

·      Strong English communication skills; German is helpful but not required.

What You Will Do

As a Mid-Level Motion Designer at OBJ.Studio, you will be responsible for designing and producing high-quality motion content for our clients, including videos, style development, and digital assets.

Your work will include:

·      Designing and animating visual content for live shows, campaigns, and other high-profile client projects.

·      Translating concepts, information, and brand strategies into dynamic motion graphics that communicate clearly and effectively.

·      Developing visual styles, final animations, and polished motion sequences.

·      Conducting research on references, trends, and techniques to inform visual development.

·      Ensuring assets meet client expectations, delivery timelines, and quality standards.

You will play a key role in bringing our ideas to life through motion, contributing both creatively and technically to each project.
