Account Executive

To help companies unlock the business value of data to drive effective decarbonization and better sustainability decisions, we are looking for an Account Executive (f/m/x).
As an Account Executive, you will sharpen our GTM strategy, while working on the front lines of sales to industrial companies, and interacting with C-level executives and other potential buyers of our software.
How You Succeed
- Build trusted relationships with Managing Directors at leading industrial companies and key stakeholders in their reporting lines (e.g., Sustainability teams, IT teams) to position and grow demand for our B2B SaaS solution.
- Spark interest and prove value. Conduct tailored product demos with the help of our product & sustainability team showcasing the value our solution offers.
- Close deals. Own opportunities through the full buyer journey (multi-stakeholder alignment, procurement, and legal), negotiate win-win agreements, and ensure a smooth handover to Customer Success so customers realize value fast.
- Take ownership and share ideas. Collaborate closely with BDRs, AEs, Partnerships, Marketing, and Product to keep the Tanso sales motion sharp and scalable.
- Use our AI tools to win. Leverage our existing sales tooling and assets to build conviction, move deals forward, and close efficiently.
- Identify bottlenecks, proactively improve processes, and increase efficiency across the funnel.
- Own your numbers. Track KPIs rigorously and know your pipeline and conversion indicators by heart to consistently hit targets.
- Provide industry insights. Attentively collect ideas and forward them to our product team to keep delivering on actual needs.
- Track your metrics. Be on top of your game and know your indicators by heart to achieve your goals.
- Build expertise in B2B SaaS. Exchange with leading voices in the industry and leverage the secret sauce of SaaS sales.

Your Profile
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English (written and verbal).
- Thrive in fast-paced environments with high ownership and hands-on execution.
- Initial experience in B2B SaaS sales and interested in the industrial sector.
- Familiarity with our target group of manufacturing companies and ESG.
